Note that the first Columbo TV movie was made in 1968 and was called "Prescription: Murder", but was not intended to be part of a series. It was very well received, and three years later, this movie was made as the pilot for the TV series, even though it was the "second" Columbo movie. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
