His career declined in the 1960s until he moved to television in the 1970s and 1980s. Some of his movies include: The Caine Mutiny, The Purple Rose of Cairo, Battleground, Command Decision, Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, and State of the Union. Johnson passed away in 2008 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this sheet music has been personally autographed (signed) by Van Johnson! Also note that this sheet music is for the song "I Love You - I Love You - I Love You Sweetheart Of All My Dreams". Note that this is from a wonderful collection of 27 different sheet music, each autographed by one or more stars connected with that movie. They were consigned to us by a collector who has collected for many decades, and over the years, he corresponded with many celebrities, and he only sent sheet music for them to autograph after he had established that the celebrities themselves would be hand autographing them. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain that all the signatures are absolutely authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
