Note that there is a subplot concerning an escaped ape (a staple in comedy shorts of the 1930s and 1940s). Normally, we can find which actor played the ape (often Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, Charles Gemora or Emil Van Horn), but in this case that actor was not credited anywhere that we could find.
