New Romance!"; note that King Kong was SO successful that RKO rushed out a very rare same-year sequel, but they made Kong's son a smaller size than his father ["only" 12 feet tall], perhaps because that made filming easier) starring Robert Armstrong (reprising his role as Carl Denham from the previous King Kong), Helen Mack, Frank Reicher, John Marston, Victor Wong, and Edward Brady NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was folded like a U.S. one-sheet, with tiny paper loss at the crossfolds, and it had several extra horizontal folds scattered throughout. It had two small circular areas of paper loss in the top center yellow background area, with pinholes, staple holes, and smudges around the edges, and some smudges scattered in the yellow background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but you can see the creases and smudges in the yellow background area, although it is not very distracting, and certainly, any restorer could touch up that area without re-backing the poster.
