An Original Vintage Comic Book (measures 7" x 10 1/4" [18 x 26 cm]) (Learn More)

Fantastic Four is a fictional comic book superhero team created by Stan Lee & Jack Kirby for Marvel Comics in 1961. The team consists of Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and Thing. Doctor Doom serves as the archenemy of Reed Richards and the Fantastic Four. The franchise has spread to TV & films along with other media.
Important Added Info: Note that this is the historic first issue of this classic Stan Lee and Jack Kirby comic book, which was the first of the modern Marvel superhero comics! IMPORTANT! We have pictured every single page of the comic so as to leave no doubt in the bidders' minds as to the exact condition it is in (and of course, the new owner may choose to have it "slabbed", with or without restoration being performed, but it is being sold completely unrestored!).

Please note that we don't use a "comic guide" grading system, and OUR grading scale is completely different from standard comic book grading. Our "very good" is completely different from a comic book graded "very good". Note: We have 19 images of this comic book, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 19 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 9.

Condition: fair. There is a diagonal crease in the lower right of the cover and other creases and scuffs scattered in the cover. There is a jagged tear in the top of the monster's head, with some tiny bits of paper loss on that tear. There is tiny paper loss down the right edge of the cover, with other wear around the edges of the cover, and the name "MICK" was written in the background on the front cover. There is paper loss in the middle of the left of the back cover, with a 2" tear coming off of that. See all of our images of all the pages to judge exactly what condition this comic book.
