An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Thunderclap, the 1921 Richard Stanton silent crime horse racing sports gambling romantic adventure thriller (produced by William Fox; a complicated story of an evil gambler who meets a young man who has a champion horse, and the gambler decides to kill the horse to win money, but the young man wins the race and also the gambler's beautiful daughter) starring Mary Carr, J. Barney Sherry, Paul Willis, Violet Mersereau, and Carol Chase. Note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99!
