Gasnier crime thriller ("Wanted! for a crime he didn't commit"; based on the play 'The Quarry' by Max Marcin and the novel of the same name by John A. Moroso; a wild story of a man who has a woman break into his apartment chased by her drunken boyfriend, and he tries to help the woman, and the drunk falls out a window, and dies, and the man gets convicted of the drunk's murder; he is sentenced to life in prison, but he escapes, and he becomes a respected member of the community, but someone who discovers his identity blackmails him!) starring William Powell, Marion Shilling, Natalie Moorhead, Regis Toomey, Paul Hurst, and George Irving. Note that this movie bears a large similarity to "I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang", which was made three years later, but that movie was based on a real incident, and this movie was based on a novel that was turned into a play. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 17" [36 x 43 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. The blank top was trimmed off. There are some creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the card. There were diagonal creases in the bottom corners and someone repaired those with glue and conservation tape from the back, and there are a few other conservation tape repairs on the back. The person who did the repairs also did slight touch up to the defects around the edges of the image. Learn More about condition grades
