An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The White Cockatoo, the 1935 Alan Crosland mystery thriller (based on the novel by Mignon G. Eberhart) starring Jean Muir, Ricardo Cortez, Ruth Donnelly, Minna Gombell, and Walter Kingsford NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). good to very good. The borders of the poster were somewhat tattered, and new paper was expertly placed over the old borders (not the area with the small writing at bottom). It was very expertly done. The image area had a series of small holes down the extreme left of the image. There were tiny holes at the crossfolds and some creases along the foldlines. Other than the above defects, the image area was in nice condition. The poster was extremely well restored, and it really looks great! Learn More about condition grades
