An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27" x 36 1/2" [69 x 93 cm]) (Learn More) Carnaval Atlantida (literally translates to "Carnival Atlantida"), the 1952 Jose Carlos Burle & Carlos Manga Brazilian Rio De Janeiro Brazil musical comedy starring Maria Antonieta Pons, Oscarito, Grande Otelo, Jose Legowy, Eliana, and Cole Santana. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at the bottom crossfold and paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had some separation and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the foldlines, and tiny paper loss scattered down the left blank border and the entire poster had darkened, more so in the foldlines and borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed the poster pretty well and did a little bit of restoration, but only a very little and mostly left the rest of the poster exactly as it was (see our image).
