An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Magic Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43") (Learn More) Nostradamus Jr., the circa 1940s Argentinean magic poster (with taglines that translate to "Youngest astrologer, psychologist and illusionist in the world" and "The youngest astrologer and illusionist in the world") promoting a show by an entertainer named Nostradamus Jr. Note that we have seen two styles of poster for this magician, but we can find no information about the actual person. If anyone knows more about this person, please e-mail us and we will post it here.. Artist: A. Salazar Important Added Info: This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster was folded in half an extra time. It had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and creases, smudges, and a few tiny tears along some foldlines. There were creases, smudges, and a few small tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great!
