French National Railroads (Societe Nationale Des Chemins De Fer Francais or S.N.C.F.), the French travel poster ("For traveling in France the railway is the right way"; "Visit France by train"; "Discover France by train") made by the S.N.C.F to encourage travel by the French National Railroad. Each poster features a wonderful image or art of one of the many locations that the railroad visits. The SNCF was founded in 1938 with the nationalization of France's main railway companies.

Artist: R. Bezombes

Condition: very good. There is some pencil writing at lower right in the blank white area but overall the poster is in pretty nice condition.
