A Needless Loss, the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster encouraging citizens to be careful with sensitive information, and featuring Anton Otto Fischer artwork of a dead U.S. sailor washed up on a beach. This poster might seem "heavy handed" to today's world, but America during World War II was very conscious of not accidentally giving information to the enemy. Artist: Anton Otto Fischer Condition: very good. The poster has minor fold and border wear. There are some tiny tears in the blank borders (along with a few tiny dots of slight discoloration at right) and there is small separation at the right edge of the center horizontal fold. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
