Initially a star in Russian silent films, Mozzhukin escaped Russia's Communist revolution, eventually settling in France. Some of his movies include: At A Lively Sport, War and Peace (the 1913 version), The Loves of Casanova, and The 10002nd Night. He passed away in 1939 at the age of 49 from tuberculosis. Important Added Info: Note that this is from a special series of deluxe English postcards ("Famous Cinema Star Series") that is printed with an embossed border around the edges (giving it a picture frame appearance), and each card has "GUARANTEED REAL PHOTOGRAPH" on the back.
