An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Once to Every Woman, the 1934 Lambert Hillyer medical doctor surgeon romantic love triangle melodrama ("Life was a puppet in her hands - but love was her master!"; "From the Cosmopolitan Magazine Story by A.J. Cronin"; exactly like TV's "ER" or "Grey's Anatomy", but 80 years earlier!; there are doctors and beautiful nurses who have very difficult patients and have complicated romantic involvements!) starring Ralph Bellamy, Fay Wray, Walter Connolly, Mary Carlisle, Walter Byron, and Billie Seward. Note that A.J. Cronin was a doctor who had health problems in 1930. He wrote a book called "Hatter's Castle" in 1931, and it was so successful that he stopped practicing medicine and wrote a series of books, all centering around doctors, including "The Citadel" and "Keys of the Kingdom", all of which were made into movies! The story that this movie was based on, "Kaleidoscope in 'K'" was not the first one he wrote, but it was the very first to be adapted into a movie.

Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned seven lobby cards from this movie, and we have never before auctioned THIS card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. The card has slightly darkened, typical of Columbia lobby cards of this period. There are many faint vertical scuffs in the right of the card, but they are mostly only noticeable when the card is tilted to the light. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
