An Original Vintage Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) Melody Master Bands, the 1936 Vitaphone musical short subject series. Apparently, this series began in 1932, and Vitaphone made a stock one-sheet that year. They apparently made a completely different stock one-sheet every other year until at least 1948! The ones we have seen are from 1932, 1936, 1940, and 1948 (so we know the series ran for at least those years!)If anyone knows more about this series, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this is a "stock" poster created by Vitaphone for use for all entries of their "Melody Master Bands" series. Theaters would order this poster, which had a blank area at the bottom. They would be sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, and they could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one.
