Wellman San Francisco California pre-Code bad girl prostitution mother-son family relationship melodrama ("I've made men and I've ruined women!"; about a woman who becomes pregnant in San Francisco, and her boyfriend is killed in the 1906 earthquake, and she gives up the child to a rich family, and she becomes an important madam at a brothel, and years later, she is investigated by the new district attorney, who is her son, all grown up!) starring Ruth Chatterton (in the title role as Frisco Jenny Sandoval), Donald Cook, James Murray, Fritzi Ridgeway, and Louis Calhern NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this scene card, and the last one was 9 years ago! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There are pinholes in the corners and two at center, with some creases and faint smudges in parts of the borders. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition.
