Artist: Roger Kastel Important Added Info: Note that this poster is commonly referred to as the "Gone With the Wind" style (because Harrison Ford is holding Carrie Fisher in his arms similar to how Clark Gable held Vivien Leigh in "Gone With the Wind"!). The poster was issued in an NSS style and in a "studio" style (which lacks NSS information), and each style turns up around the same amount of times. However, collectors greatly prefer to find the poster where it has never been folded, and those examples are far more rare than ones that were folded in the usual fashion (this is especially true of the NSS style). The poster offered here has never been folded. Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has darkened and there is light rippling throughout with some patchy slight discoloration. There were several pieces of tape on back of the edges (not put there for any restoration purpose) and they were removed roughly, causing some surface paper loss in a few areas that thins the paper and is somewhat visible from the front, and in one case caused blank paper loss at left (see our image). Some of the tape slightly bleeds through to the front. There are fine creases in some areas. Obviously restoration could be performed and the poster will display well, but bear in mind all of these things before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
