An Autographed Agreement (measures 8 1/2" x 11"; 10 pages) (Learn More) Sam Leavitt was a cinematographer from the 1920s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: Thoroughbred, Mission Over Korea, Exodus (winner of the the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for this film), A Star Is Born, The Court-Martial of Billy Mitchell, and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. He passed away in 1984 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this agreement (which is a carbon copy, but which has been hand signed, just as the original copy was) has been personally autographed (signed) by Sam Leavitt! Note that we have photographed the first page of the agreement, as well as the page with the signatures. We also photographed three other pages, because those pages had changes that the star initialed (see our images). We did not photograph the remaining pages, but you can see above how many pages there are in all. Note that our consignor has been a memorabilia dealer for the past 30 years, and he tells us that he is certain this autograph is authentic. In some cases he obtained the autographs in person, and in other cases (like with contracts and agreements), it is obvious the signatures are authentic, but he vouches for the authenticity of every item that he has consigned to us, and we also feel certain that the autographs are authentic.
