Artist: George Akimoto Important Added Info: Note that, as often happens with sequel movies, the studio realized after they printed the posters that some people might not go to the movie, thinking it was merely a re-release of the first "Airport", and NOT an all new movie. Apparently, someone at the studio was still wary of this, so they printed an additional paper snipe to be attached to the poster that read "all NEW movie"! Note that this is one of 130 Thirty by Forty posters in this set of auctions which mostly contains unfolded one-sheets. At first glance, a Thirty by Forty LOOKS similar to a one-sheet, but they are printed on a heavier paper stock and they are not ever folded, which many of the one-sheets from the same time period are. Most Thirty by Forties are far more rare than the one-sheets from the same titles. Please bid on this poster knowing it is a Thirty by Forty and NOT a one-sheet. Condition: good to very good. There is a snipe at lower center of the art (see above). There are creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along portions of some edges (partially repaired with tape from the back at lower left).
