An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Alias the Champ, the 1949 George Blair Republic wrestling sports melodrama ("Wait'll you see Gorgeous George, World's most colorful wrestling attraction"; "Written by Albert Demond") starring Robert Rockwell, Barbra Fuller, Audrey Long, Gorgeous George (the real-life wrestler, billed as "introducing Gorgeous George"), and Tor Johnson. Note that in 1949, Gorgeous George toured the country with the first interracial foursome in wrestling history, which included Baron Leone, Chief Little Wolf, and Woody Strode (George's best friend on the circuit).

Condition: good to very good. poster has darkened slightly with age; slightly diagonal creases along some of the foldlines from the poster being folded somewhat off-center; creases at center in the title area as well as minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines); tack holes scattered throughout the poster (more so around the edges) as well as some minor separation at each crossfold
