Artist: Robert McGinnis Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some small tears and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds, with some tears near to folds. It had a diagonal tear in the shoulder of the girl pouring the water, and extending diagonally to the shoulder of the girl with the gun. It had a few other creases and tears in the image. It had some pinholes, tears, and paper loss in the borders. It had paper loss in the lower left border that took off the "DELE B" of "MODELE B". Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. A very talented restorer did a great job backing the poster. You can see slight signs of the restoration from close up, but from a normal viewing distance, it will display really well. The restorer did not replace the missing tiny letters from the lower left border described above, but most people probably don't care about that, and certainly, any other restorer could add them in without re-backing the poster.
