An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Julius LaRosa was a singer from the 1950s to the 1980s. He appeared in a single movie and in a few TV shows. He is surely best remembered for what occurred in 1953, when he was an extremely popular singer on the Arthur Godfrey show, and Godfrey fired him ON AIR, because he "lacked humility"! He passed away in 2016 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Julius La Rosa! Also note that many stars kept multiple 8" x 10" copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of the star in their heyday, which, when signed by the star, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! In the case of this particular reproduction still, it was likely created in the 1970s or 1980s, and at the time that our consignor acquired the signature on it. Condition: very good to fine.
