The United States Steel Hour, the 1953 - 1963 live television (TV) stage play anthology series starring Richard Kiley, Betsy Palmer, Edward Andrews, Biff McGuire, Mona Freeman, Janice Rule, Nancy Carroll, Maurice Evans, and many, many more!

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the telecast draft from October 3, 1961 (for the episode "The Love of Claire Ambler") and the screenplay was written by Sidney Carroll. Also note that the script has the working title "Claire Ambler", but the episode ultimately was called "The Love of Claire Ambler". Finally, note that this auction also includes the printed envelope this item originally came with, as well as four 8x10 stills that were created when the show was aired, showing Janice Rule and Maurice Evans (see our images). Our consignor purchased this script (and some other scripts we are auctioning in separate auctions) from the estate of Hollywood power agent Nancy Josephson (but there is nothing on the script to indicate it was from Josephson)!
