A Linenbacked French Advertising Poster (measures 4 1/2" x 7 1/4" [11 x 18 cm]) (Learn More) Parapluie-Revel, the 1922 French poster advertising for the Parapluie-Revel umbrella manufacturing company. This poster features great art of three people using umbrellas to shield themselves from the rain by Leonetto Cappiello. The poster has an English language tagline at the bottom that says "The very best umbrella manufacturer, Established 1851", so maybe this was something aimed at American tourists in France. It seems possible this was removed from a magazine, but we really don't know. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
