An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French "Petite" Movie Poster (measures approximately 12" x 16") (Learn More) La Fille du Puisatier (released in the U.S. in 1946 as "The Well-Digger's Daughter"), the 1940 Marcel Pagnol French World War II (WWII) romantic comedy melodrama (about a pretty young girl who has an affair with a flyer and she becomes pregnant, and her father orders her out of the house) starring Raimu, Fernandel, Josette Day, Georges Grey, Milly Mathis, Line Noro, Clairette, Lucien Callamand, Maupi, Blavette, Tramel, and Fernand Charpin. Note that this movie was made just prior to France being occupied by the Nazis, and it was not released in the U.S. until 1946! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It had a few tiny tears in the borders and some very faint smudges and dot stains scattered in the poster, but they are really only noticeable in the blank borders.
