An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Pick Up, the 1933 Marion Gering pre-Code romantic bad girl crime thriller ("She was easy to get but hard to forget"; "By Vina Delmar author of 'Bad Girl'"; about a female ex-convict who has a romance with a cab driver, but she has a jealous criminal husband who breaks out of jail and wants her back) starring Sylvia Sidney, George Raft, William Harrigan, Lilian Bond, Clarence Wilson, George Meeker, and Louise Beavers. Note that in 1951, Hugo Haas made a movie of the same name, starring Beverly Michaels and himself, but it has no official relation to this movie except for the name and the similar advertising. That movie was titled "Pickup", and this one is titled "Pick Up" (the IMDb claims its title is "Pick-up", but we think they are simply wrong, because all the original advertising says "Pick Up").

Important Added Info: Note that at this time, Paramount would sometimes have cards with very small blank borders. Looking at them, you might think they are trimmed, but they measure the full 11" x 14" and definitely are not trimmed.

Condition: very good to fine. There is tiny paper loss in the bottom right blank corner and a tiny tear just above it. There is slight darkening and smudging around the edges of the card. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
