Artist: Frank McCarthy Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had a 4" V-shaped tear to the left of the bottom crossfold that affected the "Y" of ONLY" and only slightly affected the "L". It had fine surface paper loss and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had pinholes around the edges, with a few within the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
