The chimney sweep silhouette has been the trademark of the company since 1896. Today, it is a brand of car care products, but it originally sold footwear and household care products. In addition, Nigrin is also involved in sports sponsorship, including the CarTech Porsche Team and racing driver Lukas Schreier in the Porsche Sports Cup. Artist: Straub Important Added Info: Note that this poster features the tagline "Shines, cares, preserves the shoe", and Straub art of the Nigrin chimney sweep logo. Also, note that this advertising poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: very good. Both sections were never folded. It has a strip of plastic with holes attached to the back of the right border of each section (no doubt this was done as a way of hanging this poster with others on racks, and being able to easily access any of them). The plastic strip could be removed by a professional or talented amateur, or of course, the excess plastic could simply be trimmed off.
