The band released an album, Briefcase Full of Blues, in 1978, and then starred in a major (and now considered classic) Hollywood film, The Blues Brothers, in 1980. After the death of Belushi in 1982, the Blues Brothers continue to perform with a rotation of guest singers and other band members. Band members have included: John Belushi (as 'Joliet' Jake Blues), Dan Aykroyd (as Elwood Blues), Matt 'Guitar' Murphy, Steve 'The Colonel' Cropper, Donald 'Duck' Dunn, Paul 'The Shiv' Shaffer, Steve 'Getdwa' Jordan, Lou 'Blue Lou' Marini, Tom 'Triple Scale' Scott, Tom 'Bones' Malone, and Alan 'Mr. Fabulous' Rubin.
