What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and it acquired creases around the edges, more so in the excess linen, but some enter into the poster. It also acquired tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner, and the poster is slightly "lifting" from the linen in the bottom. There are also some faint creases scattered in the image.
