An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Skin Deep, the 1929 Ray Enright romantic love triangle mistaken identity revenge thriller (based on the story 'Lucky Damage' by Marc Edmund Jones; a really complicated story of a gangster who falls in love with a chorus girl, and plans on retiring after giving all his ill-gotten gains to the district attorney, but the chorus girl doesn't like that, so she takes up with his rival and gets him put in jail, and then she tricks him into breaking out of jail to kill the DA, thinking the district attorney double crossed him, but he gets injured in the breakout, and he luckily meets a plastic surgeon who gives him a new face, and he falls in love with the surgeon's daughter, and they go off to start a new life) starring Monte Blue, Davey Lee, Betty Compson, Alice Day, John Davidson, and John Bowers. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. There are two long tears in the top and bottom borders that were repaired with tape from the back, and faint stains and tiny bits of surface paper loss around the edges (fortunately mostly only in the blank borders).
