Note that Marilyn Monroe was given the lead in this movie, but she was not yet a major star. Her performance in this film, and the iconic gigantic image of her laying atop the famous waterfall with the water running over her body helped her career massively! Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It was very slightly roughly handled while it was rolled, and there are a few partial vertical creases scattered in the poster, but they are almost unnoticeable from the front. There are some creases and smudges around the edges. The poster will display really well just as it is, and I would think most collectors would be happy to, but certainly, restoration could be performed if the new owner chooses to.
