An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Rebound, the 1931 Edward H. Griffith romantic marriage melodrama (based on the play by Donald Ogden Stewart) starring Ina Claire, Robert Ames, Myrna Loy, Hedda Hopper, Robert Williams, Leigh Allen, and Louise Closser Hale NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of director Edward Griffith on the set of the movie talking to the top six cast members (including a gorgeous young Myrna Loy!). Also note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! Also, the person who owned this still noticed that the issue of Photoplay Magazine for June 1931 had the exact same still pictured, and they cut out that picture and kept it with this still, and both will be sent to the winner of the auction.
