An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

The Creeper, the 1948 Jean Yarbrough mad scientist monster horror thriller ("From an original story idea by Don Martin"; about a pair of mad scientists who find a serum in the West Indies that can change people into cats, and they use it on unwilling human guinea pigs, or "guinea cats"!) starring Eduardo Ciannelli, Onslow Stevens, June Vincent, Ralph Morgan, Janis Wilson, and John Baragrey. Note that this movie was produced by Universal Pictures in 1946, but there was a shake up in the studio at that time, and they briefly abandoned low-budget horror movies, and so this movie "sat on a shelf" for two years, before it was picked up by 20th Century Fox and released in 1948.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: fair to good. Most of the upper horizontal fold has separated and it extends into a large u-shaped tear that goes into Vincent's face, and that is repaired with tape from the back. There are tiny dot stains scattered in various areas and there are some other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image. After proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
