An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

If I Were King, the 1920 J. Gordon Edwards silent adventure melodrama (about a famous poet who is allowed to rule France for a week!) starring William Farnum, Betty Ross Clarke, Fritz Leiber, Walter Law, and Henry Carvill. Note that this movie was remade in 1927, 1930, and 1938, and only the 1938 version had the same name.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned several other lobby cards from this movie and a single one-sheet (and NO other movie paper of any kind). Note that the previously lobby cards have a similar layout to this card, but the credits are placed differently on the cards. Either design may be a first release and the other a very early re-release, but we have no way of knowing if one predates the other. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good to fine. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
