Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Graft, the 1931 Christy Cabanne murder crime politics newspaper journalism corruption melodrama (from the story by Barry Barringer; about a district attorney who is killed, and a cub reporter starts to investigate and discovers crooked politicians and a kidnapping) starring Regis Toomey, Sue Carol, Dorothy Revier, and Boris Karloff (pre-Frankenstein, and 4th billed!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. 1" tear in upper right border and 3/4" tear in upper left border (both repaired with tape from the back); tack holes and stains in top and bottom borders (tack hole at bottom center is covered with a piece of clear tape); water stains in right border; minor creases around the edges; It is very fortunate that almost all of the defects of this great Karloff card are in the borders! If framed, most of the damage would be concealed, or a talented restorer could greatly improve the appearance of the card without putting paint on the image. Learn More about condition grades
