A Photographic Negative (measures 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]) (Learn More) The Vagabond Lover, the 1929 Marshall Neilan Long Island New York City mistaken identity romantic musical comedy (college senior Rudy Vallee is in a band, and ends up being mistaken for a famous saxophone player, and he is invited to perform at the home of a rich girl he likes) starring Rudy Vallee ("and his Connecticut Yankees in his first feature picture"; "Sensation on the radio.. revelation on the screen."), Sally Blane, Marie Dressler, Charles Sellon, and Norman Peck NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this negative has no information with it, so we don't know when it was created, but we are guessing the 1930s. The negative comes together with a paper print of a positive image. Also note that this (or these, in the case of multiple negatives) was created by and sent by the studio that produced this (in the year noted on this auction) to newspapers, magazines, TV stations, or reviewers, so that they could use them to create the highest quality ads.
