An Original 1948 (from the first release of this movie in Spain) Vintage Theatrical Spanish Movie Herald (measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" [11 x 11 cm]) (Learn More) Now, Voyager, the classic 1942 Irving Rapper romantic adultery family relationship melodrama ("From the novel by Olive Higgins Prouty"; with an early very sympathetic treatment of psychiatry; an ugly duckling old maid with a domineering mother undergoes an "extreme makeover" and finds true love, and is able to help the suffering daughter of her lover, but the lovers are not allowed to remain together!) starring Bette Davis (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; as Charlotte Vale), Paul Henreid (as Jerry Durrance), Claude Rains (as Dr. Jaquith), Gladys Cooper (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Bonita Granville (as June Vale), Ilka Chase, Charles Drake, John Loder, and Janis Wilson (as Tina; she was unbilled in this movie even though she had a very major role as Henreid's daughter; she had another important role in "Watch on the Rhine", and then made a few more movies and retired completely, oddly marrying a man she first met on the set of this movie!). Note that this is the movie with the classic scene of Paul Henreid lighting two cigarettes at the same time and passing one to Davis! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that when Spanish heralds have printing on the back, we picture both sides, but when they are blank on the back, we only picture the front. Note that we are currently offering a collection of 316 Spanish heralds, and this is far and away the best collection of these we have ever offered! It covers many decades and genres with many very popular titles. Please note that Spanish heralds sometimes are found with theater information on the back, and sometimes they are not printed on the back. Sometimes the ones with printing on the back have some "bleed through" to the front, especially in the light colored areas. If one of these heralds have noticeable bleed through, then we downgrade the condition (depending on how distracting or noticeable it is) even if the herald is otherwise in excellent condition (and it may be that all known examples of that herald have printing on the back, so it may only be found that way). Please look at our super-sized image of heralds that have printing on the back to see how much it affects the front (if at all). When you look at the super-sized image, you may notice that the image appears somewhat "blurry". This is because we are taking a small herald and blowing up the image so that you can see the condition, but in the process, the image can become slightly distorted or blurry, so please realize that this is only the image, and not the herald itself. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
