An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 26 1/4" x 39 1/2" [67 x 100 cm]) (Learn More)

SR-71 Blackbird, the 1989 Robert Mehnert military aircraft documentary ("To keep the peace they fly alone... unarmed... into the unknown"). The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird is a long-range, high-speed reconnaissance aircraft that was operated by the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1999. It was developed as a secret project in the 1960s by Lockheed and its Skunk Works division. During aerial reconnaissance missions, the SR-71 operated at high speeds and altitudes to allow it to outrace threats (if a missile launch were detected, the standard evasive action was simply to accelerate and outfly the missile). The SR-71 was the world's fastest (2,193 mph) and highest-flying (85,069 feet) operational manned aircraft throughout its career. We can find little info about this documentary and posters for it are very rare. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Artist: Robert A. Kuch
Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 26 1/4" x 39 1/2" [67 x 100 cm], but it has not been trimmed.
