An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Tumbling River, the 1927 Lewis Seiler silent romantic cowboy western ("The Old West In All Its Glory"; "From 'The Scourge of the Little C' by J. Egrinstead"; not only does Tom Mix save his girlfriend from a gang of cattle rustlers who have kidnapped her and from a raging river that they threw her in, but he also has to rescue Tony, who is stolen by the rustlers!) starring Tom Mix, Tony ("The Wonder Horse"), Dorothy Dwan, Wallace MacDonald, William Conklin, and Estella Essex. Note that, as happened with many other major action movies, this movie had a tragedy associated with it. The river rescue scene was filmed on California's Merced River, and a stuntwoman, 22 year-old Ethel Hall, was used in the sequence, and she drowned during the filming. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the bottom left corner. There are creases, smudges, and a couple of tiny tears in the rest of the borders. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
