An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Mysterious Doctor, the 1943 Benjamin Stoloff World War II (WWII) fantasy mystery thriller ("Who is he?"; about an English town with a tin mine that would greatly aid the war effort, but the inhabitants refuse to go into it because of a headless ghost that haunts it, and they have proof, because everyone who goes into the mine is killed; there are cool fantasy sequences with the headless ghost) starring John Loder, Eleanor Parker, Bruce Lester, Lester Matthews, Forrester Harvey, and Matt Willis NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tears and fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There was a tear and paper loss in the bottom of the "M" of "MYSTERIOUS" in the title. The poster had smudges in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
