Some of his movies include: Spartacus, Dr. Strangelove, Paths of Glory, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and Full Metal Jacket. He passed away in 1999 at the age of 70.
