An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Hidden Way, the 1926 Joseph De Grasse silent romantic swindler crime melodrama (about two ex-cons and a con man who team up to swindle an old lady by tricking her into thinking a spring on her land has valuable mineral water on it, but the younger ex-con falls for the woman's daughter and makes sure everything ends up okay) starring Mary Carr, Gloria Grey, Tom Santschi, Arthur Rankin, and Ned Sparks. Note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The left one-third of the card was folded at a slight diagonal at one time, and the fold runs through Sparks' hat and shoulder. There is a light water stain in the middle of the right blank border, and some creases and slight darkening around the edges.
