An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Ann Blyth is an actress from the 1940s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Mildred Pierce (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Brute Force, The World in His Arms, and Another Part of the Forest. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 94 Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Ann Blyth! Our consignor was a freelance journalist in the 1970s and 1980s, and he wrote a long letter to Miss Blyth and enclosed this still, which she autographed to him and returned, and which he has now consigned to us. Note that this still has an image of artwork created specifically for this movie! Such stills are far more rare than stills which show scenes from the movie! Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from , but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
