She was one of the first Hollywood actresses to embrace television, and she had a big hit in the 1950s with TV's "December Bride". Some of her roles include: Please Don't Eat the Daises, The Devil and Miss Jones, The Rocket Man, Because You're Mine, Bannerline, Dragonwyck, Roxie Hart, Jezebel, You Can't Take It With You (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Werewolf in London. She passed away in 1971 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Spring Byington! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this still is from the collection of Robert J. Fieth. He was born in 1923, and as a teenager, he began writing to celebrities in the 1940s, and continued to do so over several decades, acquiring a collection of over 500 autographed photos (many of which are personalized to him, either as "To Robert J. Fieth", or "To Robert", or "To Bob"). We have been consigned a number of signed photos from this collection, the majority of which were obtained in the 1940s or 1950s! Condition: good to very good.
