An Autographed 3 1/2" x 5" [9 x 13 cm] Cut Album Page (Learn More) Betty Grable was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s, often appearing in romantic musicals. Some of her movies include: Million Dollar Legs, Tin Pan Alley, Moon Over Miami, and Down Argentine Way. She is perhaps best remembered for her famous sexy legs, and one of her pin-up images, which was one of the absolute most popular ones displayed by soldiers during World War II (at one time, her legs were insured for $1,000,000 by Lloyds of London!). She was married to actor Jackie Coogan, and then later to bandleader Harry James (with whom she had two children). She passed away in 1973 at the age of 56 from lung cancer. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Betty Grable! It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. He purchased the signed photos that were in the inventory of a long running memorabilia store, and he has consigned a number of them to us, and we are auctioning them here, including this item. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
