An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) Heavenly Bodies!, the 1963 Russ Meyer sexploitation comedy ("Full-bodied Eastman color"; "Again! -Russ Meyer hits the spot like no other nudie movie producer can!"; "At last! The real 'behind the scenes' story of 'those' magazine glamour photographers and 'their' buxomly-beautiful models!" "Extra - added attraction! 'Skyscrapers and Brassieres' featuring 44-D 'Rochelle' color"; "By the creator of 'The Immoral Mr. Teas'!"; "Adults") starring Ken Parker, Gaby Martone, Marian Milford, Don Cochran, and Werner Kirsch. Note that this movie was made 4 years after Meyer's first feature, "The Immoral Mr. Teas", and is the movie he made just prior to "Lorna", which gained him national recognition. Movie paper of any sort from this movie is incredibly rare! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that, as noted above, this is an incredibly rare poster. It is only the second time we have auctioned this poster, and the last one that we auctioned in 2017 sold for $367 (and other than that one-sheet, we have only auctioned one group of two 8x10 stills for this movie ever)! This poster has really cool day-glo printing (it does not show well in our image, but that might help account for its extreme rarity). Note also that this one-sheet measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]. Condition: good. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right. The folds have caused some smudges and wear along the creases and some separation and small paper loss in the created "upper left crossfold". It has 3-4" of separation in the left edge of the lower horizontal fold and a 3" tear at lower right. There is a tear with two small areas of paper loss in the lower left crossfold area and there is some separation in each crossfold. There are a few inches of separation to the left of the center crossfold. Certainly the rare poster could be restored and linenbacked and it would look great, but please bear in mind its defects and cost of restoration before placing a bid.
