Amaro Valsesia, the 1920s Italian liquor advertising poster promoting the purchase of an aperitif from north-eastern Italy. Note that this poster features art of a woman in traditional dress holding up a bottle of Amaro Valsesia. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a 4" tear near the center of the top border, with some faint scuffing in the black border areas and some minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
