They stayed for the adventure."; "Based on the novel 'The Stars in Their Courses' by Harry Brown"; "Screenplay by Leigh Brackett"; a virtual re-make of Hawks' own "Rio Bravo") starring John Wayne ("is the Gunfighter"), Robert Mitchum ("is the Sheriff"), James Caan (in his fourth credited movie role!), Charlene Holt, Paul Fix, Arthur Hunnicutt, Michele Carey, Edward Asner, and Johnny Crawford.
