Auer Chicago Illinois crime film noir ("...from the Honky Tonks to the penthouses ...the creeps, the hoods, come out to war with the city!"; "Written by Steve Fisher") starring Gig Young, Mala Powers, William Talman, Edward Arnold, Chill Wills, Marie Windsor, and Paula Raymond. Note that, although the phrase "City that Never Sleeps" became popularized in a song about New York, the phrase was earlier used to refer to the city of Chicago, which is how this movie got its name! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster has light rippling throughout the lower quarter. It has tiny creases, tears, bits of paper loss and areas of separation along portions of the lower vertical foldline and the lower two crossfolds are backed with conservation tape. It has creases and tiny tears along portions of some edges with a few tiny blank border areas of paper loss. The poster is otherwise mostly "all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
